We had so much fun learning about Mississippi during the last two weeks. Thank you to all parents who brought Mississippi grown foods for everyone to sample from our tasting table. The children did a fantastic job with their presentation on Friday. They sang songs, recited poems, and danced. They are great performers! We will have a repeat performance during assembly this Friday. Parents are not required to come. We just wanted to entire student body to have the chance to see their program as well.
Looking ahead....
This week marks the birthday of Johnny Apppleseed. First graders will be involved in many activities with, you guessed it, apples. Thank you parents, again, for sending items needed for our planned apple activites this week.
School pictures are going to be taken on Wednesday. Students are to wear their dress uniform.
Have an apple of a week!
Sincerely,
Ms. Sandy
